Privacy policy
MarketFriction is built to collect as little about you as possible.
What we do not collect
There are no accounts, no advertising trackers and no cookies set by the site for tracking.
Visit statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors; it records pages viewed, referrers, country and device type in aggregate.
Saved in your browser only
Some tools save your choices in your own browser's local storage so they are there next time: your portfolio holdings on the portfolio page, saved screens and display preferences. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share a link that contains it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Telegram alerts
If you start the alerts bot, Telegram gives us your chat ID and display name so we can send the alerts you asked for, together with the symbols and screens you add. Send /stop to the bot, or ask us at [email protected], to have them deleted.
If you email us, we keep the conversation to reply and to fix any problem you report. We never sell or share it.
Server logs
Like any website, our servers and Cloudflare keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and to fix errors.
